If you answered yes to even one of these questions then you have something in common with a famous writer and you can be a writer too. Just mooch through The Young Writers’ Companion and find out some scoop on famous writers and some ideas for your own reading and writing.
Where did this book come from?
I wrote this book because I found lots of books about writing dull. Books come from real people and each of these people has his or her own methods. How did J.R.R. Tolkien start a story? Why not give his method a try? What was the origin of Anne of Green Gables? Pretend to be Lucy Maud Montgomery and see what happens.
What do readers think?
A fun tool for focusing on collecting and stimulating ideas.
An excellent resource for both writer and teacher.
